Day 38: Thursday, 17th October 2013: Corris Art Centre & Llandinum

Today, we had a lazy start – well sort of! My phone rang at 6.30am but we went back to sleep for a while afterwards. The weather was better than yesterday, with a few clouds around and the occasional shower of rain. After a later breakfast than usual, we relaxed while a load of washing finished, then at about 10.00am we left to go to the Corris Craft Centre where there are a number of craft studios, including a jeweller who makes Celtic jewellery. I wanted Celtic ring, which is why we went there. There was a ring that I really liked and it fit me, so I was pleased I found what I wanted. I also got a pair of Celtic Knot earrings.

Along with the jewellers we visited all the other shops there. We could have come away with so many beautiful hand crafted items including some glass products, but there is no room in our cases for any more!
After spending time at the Art Centre, we came back to the Lodge for a cuppa, then walked to the local village to have a look around. The village is bigger than we first thought. It is a pretty little village. Today was a much more relaxed day than we have had for a while and it was good to just do nothing (almost). I think we are all getting very tired and looking forward to going home next week.
a view along the road we drove today - there are so many beautiful sights to enjoy!

every time we leave or come back to the lodge, we drive along this lane.
